This is the fourth of a yearlong 5-part series Using a standards-based, culturally and historically responsive year- long plan as the foundation to equitable and student centered assessment equitable, this webinar will explore Understanding By Design Framework: Creating the learning plan (instruction) and activities (experiences) to backwards plan a 4-6 week unit or lesson based on the assessment outcomes established in Webinar 2 or your current content assessments. The Universal Design Framework will be used as a reference tool to backwards sequence instruction matched to your students needs and well designed assessment and grading. Equitable, accessible and effective instruction should be matched to the equitable and fair assessments created in session 2 and 3 so that it is responsive to student needs as they progress through the instructional pathway to the student informed and centered desired outcomes.

This course is designed for schools who are in Phase 2, but any CHSS participating Schools can register and attend.
