Henterson Carlisle

Henterson is the Northwest Regional Director for CHSS supporting Oregon and Washington.  

Henterson has over 23 years of public-school education experience as a classroom teacher, assistant principal, and principal.  Henterson holds a BA in Economics and earned a master’s in education and administrative credentials from the University of Washington. Henterson’s work with communities that are underserved and marginalized span much longer than the 23 years of education. He has participated in community advocacy through volunteerism, adult, and youth mentorship. He has worked tirelessly to have a positive impact on all those he engages with. 

Henterson is married and has two adult children. He loves to travel and experience diverse cultures, with his latest travels to Belize, Accra, Ghana and Cape Town, South Africa. 

In 9th grade, Henterson was a tall skinny kid who loved everything about high school and was a full participant in the high school experience.
