We will show you how to use your 8th grade early warning indicator data to identify incoming 9th graders at high risk of failure to invite to participate in the program.

DESCRIPTION:This two-day institute is for Colorado’s new CHSS partner schools and new ninth grade success teams. We will ground our new 9th Grade Success teams in the “why”\, “what”\, and “how” of our work as well as train teams how to use our research-based processes and protocols to guide 9th Grade Success work. Participants will practice using data to diagnose and strengthen systems to ensure incoming ninth grade students (The Class of 2025) finish their first year in high school “on-track”. There will also be time to collaborate with your school team and explore effective and promising practices to support effective implementation of ninth grade success teams. Contact Hour Certificate will be available to meet state licensing requirements
